Trouble logging into POL and FF11

I have been having problems logging onto the pol server and FF11. This seems to have happened since the last update and is affecting both myself and my friend who also logs on from my house, so I know that it is not PC related.

Has anyone else had any recent logging in issues.

I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, but if you and a friend both can't log in from the same location then that definitely does not rule out an issue on your end or with your network environment. In fact, this would be an indicator of such an issue, rather than evidence that it's not. I reccomend doing a ping and traceroute to 202.67.54.132 (an IP in SE's datacenter) and see if there are any hops where it hangs or where the ping suddenly jumps.

It can also be a routing issue with your connection taking a bad path to reach the server, which can be temporary but can also be resolved by using a VPN to change your route to the server.
