    • Reforging equipment
      • Trade the equipment and "matter" (see the explanation below) to the same NPC that crafted the equipment while possessing the necessary number of units in order to add an augment to the equipment.
      • After the augment has been added, you can use the units as RP (Reinforcement Points) to upgrade the augment in stages. You will need the corresponding matter for each upgrade.

    • "Matter" overview
Matter is a new item that is needed to craft and reforge the equipment. It can be acquired from Worlds that defeat notorious monsters in Limbus.

    • About the battles
      • The level set within Limbus does not apply to the battles.
      • Since the battles are not exclusive, you can fight alongside other adventurers.
      • There is no time limit for the battles.
      • The notorious monsters' HP will not recover automatically.
      • The monsters will remain until they are defeated.
    • About the obtainable rewards
The color of the treasure chest will change for the following four-week period in the Worlds and areas where the notorious monsters were defeated, giving you the opportunity to earn matter.

The number of victories against the notorious monsters will be counted for both Temenos and Apollyon, and will be reset when the conquest results are tabulated every four weeks
Note: This information has been updated to reflect changes made to the specifications as part of the October 2025 version update.

      • The treasure chest change applies to each World. Therefore, any players residing in a World that defeated notorious monsters will be given the chance to acquire matter for the applicable area, not just those who actually participated in defeating the monsters.
        * The area-specific support effects and the quantity of units that can be acquired from the treasure chest are the same as before.
      • The player's chances of acquiring matter are based on the number of victories over notorious monsters that were earned in the player's World.

[Unlocking the content for the first time]
        • Characters that have never acquired Alabaster Matter or Murky Matter are guaranteed to acquire them the first time they unlock the content*.
          * This only applies once per character and is not affected by the treasure chest reset when the conquest results are tabulated.

    • "131–135" has been added to the level selection choices for the Temenos Operator and Apollyon Operator.
