PlayOnline Viewer Shows No Text or Icons

I have encountered the same issue that the person in this thread encountered. I have posted the link below. Although Merlore resolved the issue, I do not understand Merlore's statement that "it was either OpenGL GDI compatibility on NVIDIA control panel needs to be set to compatible mode or adjust desktop size and position needs to be set to no scaling." Would anybody please elaborate on what exactly Merlore probably did to fix the issue that I am struggling with?

When I head to my display settings, there is no option to set it no scaling. The lowest setting is 100%. By the way, how do I turn on compatible mode in NVIDIA control panel? On a side note, I am using Windows 11 if that is relevant.

it seems to be Nvidia specific, see if you can find settings related to what they were supposedly tinkering with. I have an AMD GPU and have never seen this myself. Also do make sure you're not installing the game from Steam, even if you bought it there.

I went to Nvidia Control Panel, opened Manage 3D settings, switched to Program Settings, selected the program "All Play On-Line Game (pol.exe)," scrolled down the "Specify the settings for this program," selected OpenGL GDI compatibility, changed the setting to "Prefer compatible," and afterwards, I applied and exited Nvidia Control Panel. Nothing has changed, so changing that alone did not work.

I am having the same problem on my new laptop. Its a Lenovo Yoga Pro. I'm pretty sure it does not have a Nvidia graphic card. If anyone can help me figure it out what to do it'd be appreciated.

I solved the issue. I went to the Intel site and downloaded some updates.
