Steps:

1. Attack any of the Besieged related enemies while they are on the move towards Al Zahbi at either the Bhaflau Thickets or the Wajaom Woodlands.
2. Observe the enemies sometimes only partially "lose interest" and continue onward.
3. Observe the enemies othertimes instead turning their back towards the adventurer(s), and not move unless the adventurer(s) move.

Additional details:

While in this state, the enemies will still attack the adventurer(s) if they move close enough.

They will not move backwards to the direction they arrived from, but they will move forward or from side to side if the adventurer(s) does.

It is possible to defeat the enemies without taking any damage while attacking them from behind in this state.

Often the enemies will disappear when they are able to move to the location they normally do disappear at, just before the city entrance, but sometimes they keep following the adventurer(s) until defeated, or until the adventurer(s) change area.
