Steps:
1. friend got crep knife in trove.
2. i lotted 934
3. everyone passed
4. received several items. crep knife was not among them.
5. it seems the items that were lotted vanished, the items that were not lotted dropped when time ran out.

It's not a bug, your inventory was filled by other items first. This happens all the time. If you need a particular item, make sure that item is lotted and distributed before anything else. The only thing that seems unusual here is the lack of a message stating an item was lost, but your chat filters could be the reason for that. The log shows you tossing three items and obtaining three others. This certainly suggests to me that your inventory was full. To ensure you recieve the item you want, you should make sure to pass everything else, particularly if inventory space is tight.

GMs do not and can not assist with items lost in this manner, they will just tell you to post on the forums because there's nothing else they can do.

If everyone passed, then the item should have been distributed immediately and you should see a message saying you obtained the item. That tells me someone didn't pass. A video showing items leaving the treasure pool would have been helpful here.
