Teleported to whitegate timed out during tele

I used a homepoint crystal to teleport to whitegate from nashmau and timed out during the teleport. Now when I try login it says my character is in whitegate but it times me out during the black screen after character selection that says downloading data.. then times me out before I can login stating FFXI-3001 error code. Ive tried resetting my routers/modems and nothing changes. Please help.

This is likely an issue on the route to the servers, not an in-game bug.

I have personally been experiencing this and other connection issues in recent days, and have seen other players having issues as well (geolocation probably playing a part in it).

Could also be server issues, but all players in a particular area probably should be seeing the problem in those cases.

Edit:

Forgot to add that whenever that "stuck in the loading limbo" happened, it would take a good while until I was able to log in properly again. Hopefully it was/will be that way in this case as well.
