Hey guys,
I've been a long time player on and off, and recently came back to the game.
I've been a BST main for many years now, have poured alot of time and resources into the job. There is alot I would like to see changed, I will not go into a full list of things.
But I'd like to talk about some QoL improvements to the job that would vastly improve gameplay for the job.
1) Make it so pets, do not pick up their own aggro. (If I tell a pet to fight a specific monster, make it stay on that target). Having to waste a job ability mid-fight hurts your overall DPS.
-Give us a job ability or action that allows our pets to auto-attack with us on our target and doesn't swap targets unless specifically asked.
2) Make jug pets learnable. If you main BST you have to waste ALOT of inventory to carry different pets for different scenarios.
-Remove the inventory requirements for jug pets.
3) Clean up BSTs kit, the job has come a long way from the original era of the game. It's way past time for some functional clean up on certain abilities that are just no longer viable or used. Charm, Gauge, Tame: Let's add some utility to them for late game. Charm temporarily makes monsters weak to your summoned pet type. Gauge lowers critical hit evasion. Tame lower's magic evasion. Spur should only need to be used for the duration of the pet or just make it a job trait. It's another ability you have to hit to get the benefit of attack bonus and just shouldn't have to be done every minute.
-That was alot.
Thank you for reading. And I hope to see a few adjustments for this job.
I get the feeling its meant to be a hybrid DPS/melee Debuff role in groups now. But it was never polished to really fit in right.
