    • About the monsters
      • The monster level will be the level that the first player detected by a monster chose at the entrance.
Note: When playing in a party, the level for everyone will also be that which the first player detected by a monster chose at the entrance. Additionally, all participating party members must select a level.
Note: All of the monsters' HP and stats will be restored at the start of the battle.
Note: The monster level will not change until the battle with the monsters is over. If a monster is engaged in combat, the monster level will not change even if it targets a different player.
      • The monster respawn time is one minute.
    • Acquiring the data
This is a gameplay system unique to Limbus that allows you to acquire data after defeating monsters. The amount of data obtained changes depending on factors such as the difference in level between you and the monsters as well as the number of members in your party. The amount of acquirable data differs between each floor in Temenos and Apollyon, and both your selected level and the data accumulated so far will be displayed for your current floor.

Note: When fighting a monster of a lower level than the one selected at the entrance, the amount of acquirable data will be reduced based on the level difference between you.
Note: If you are a fighting a monster that is 10 or more levels lower than your selected level, you will be unable to acquire any data.
Note: The data acquired from each floor will be reset once you leave Temenos or Apollyon. Also, your accumulated data will be reset if you select a level higher than your currently selected level.
    • Temporary items
Once you've accumulated the maximum amount of data for a floor, you will get a key for the treasure chest. These temporary items that can be obtained vary by floor, and you must acquire all of the temporary items in the area in order to open the treasure chest.

    • Treasure chests
There is one treasure chest for each sector within Temenos and Apollyon. Upon opening them, you can receive the special currency known as "units" needed for the area, and after the first chest has been opened, you can receive the Temenos verification key or Apollyon verification key that is needed to reforge your relic armor or artifact armor at the Temenos Furnace or Apollyon Furnace. Also, from the second chest onward, you may also receive special support effects that can boost your stats across all of Limbus's areas.
Note: You can open up to five treasure chests per week in both Temenos and Apollyon.
      • Effects obtainable from treasure chests
        • Depending on the number of treasure chests opened, the maximum amount of Temenos Units and Apollyon Units you can carry will increase.
        • You can also obtain special support effects for the area that are only active within Limbus.
          • Support effects
            • The support effects grow more effective based on how many treasure chests you open. The number of times the treasure chests have been opened are recorded for each World, so all of the adventurers within each World can receive the same support effects.
Note: Any support effects that you have earned will be activated automatically upon entering Temenos or Apollyon. There is no time limit for these support effects.
Note: The same effects will be activated whether you are in Temenos or Apollyon.
            • A special icon is displayed when receiving support effects. Also, you can confirm the details of your support effects with the Temenos Operator or Apollyon Operator.
