Why stop there? Why not just have the moogle act as the entry point to all the game's content directly. That way you wouldn't have to step into the open world at all. [/sarcasm]

While not exact, game used to be able to set home point on MH. It sux when SE removed it, had no choice back then to change HP due to doing group content, thus lose that MH homepoint forever. At least eastern Adoulin has HP very close to it, which has became my current for some years since.

whilst a mog garden is unlikely, i personally wouldn't mind seeing a homepoint, or mini home point as an mh furnishing

It was way too easy to accidentally change your home point back when you could set it upon exiting the MH, so to be honest I'm glad that was changed.
