If FFXI shutdown, I would officially no longer be a Final Fantasy fan.

FFXI is literally the only game (which is the only RPG in the FF franchise since FFXII to release since) keeping my interest in the Final Fantasy franchise.
Obviously not only did that not happen but there are still content updates planned. So why bother with this?

Also, see above post. they didn't use the words "shut down." Screenrant is notorious for clickbaity articles that misrepresent whats actually happening.
