Yeeah, you're going to want to check that, as well as retrace your steps on the quest. In most cases, it's an oversight or you skipped or forgot something.

In this case, if you started that quest but can't cancel it from Gumbah, it means you have another weapon skill quest active. You must either finish that quest or cancel it at the quest giver in order to try this one again.

You can only do one WSNM quest at a time. However, you can cancel it by talking to the NPC that gave you the quest
This is the quest and people say you can cancel them but I can't. It shows up under Bastok Mission Inheritance (Ground Strike Quest) and I have even gone as far of completing almost every quest in the zone.

Talking to Gumbah doesn't yield any options. Maybe because I've finished Voracious Resurgence which he was apart of... Either way I'm stuck. I think it is just bugged for me.

Well I thought I was implying this, but I'm thinking you have a different WS quest active that you've forgotten about. I wasn't suggesting you talk to the quest giver for the quest you're trying to do, but rather with the other quest givers you might have an active quest with- as was stated, only one of these quests can be active at a time.

You might be thinking you've never touched another one, but I'd like to ask that you check the other WS quests anyway, as unless you show that you've completed all of the others, it's still a possibility even if you don't think you have.

People post here at least once a week saying a quest is bugged and like 199 times out of 200, it was some sort of overisght, either a skipped step, quest was already completed, traded wrong item, another quest conflicting, etc. etc.
