I have been on Ragnarok since NA launch. When Treasures of Aht Urghan came out I created a Dynamis LS named BombToss and ran Dynamis for a few years. The LS has been dead for a long time, but as the Linkpeark owner I have kept it just because it's near and dear to me. I recently transferred to Asura 5 days ago and have now come back to Ragnarok. I tried to use the New Linkshell to re-create my old linkshell. It says the name is already in use or otherwise unavailable. I created a GM call and spoke with the [GM] Ontiakanee and he instructed me to create a bug report on this forum. He siad he was adding notes to the ticket to reflect our conversation.

I just want the name of my Linkshell back. Please and thank you.

If it says the name is taken, the name is taken. That's not a bug.

GMs do not handle bug reports or gameplay issues, they will always tell you to come here. That doesn't mean there's actually something wrong.

You were off the server for 5 days, anything can happen during that time. If something like this is important to you, you should not transfer servers as a linkshell owner.

The name is not taken... I've had the name for 15 years. No one took that name in the 5 day window I wasn't on Ragnarok.

MORE than likely I think Bomb is not allowed in a linkshell name.

You don't know that. You weren't on the server for 5 days.

As far as allowed names, they haven't changed the rules on that in a long time if ever, so if you were able to create it before you'd be able to create it now if it was available.

If a linkshell item is important to you, you simply should not transfer servers. There is NO guarantee you'll be able to re-create it.

YOU dont know that either. I'd rather you just stop responding. I came here for help from the Devs / Tech Support people. Not a player. No one on Ragnarok took the name, I have asked. The server isn't that big.

Well, I'm sorry my posting offends you, but you're not going to get any help from the devs or tech support people here.

While they will check for issues (though not with you personally) with a correctly submitted bug report, they will not respond to you here. Note that placing a thread in "accepted bugs" only means you've correctly filled out the bug report template, it's not confirmation of a bug.

If you want help and non SE people responding offends you, then you need to contact them through the support website:

But really, there is little that can be done if the game is telling you the name isn't avalable. Again, I'm sorry that my response offends you, but it's just the reality of the situation. I understand you are frustrated, but I don't personally feel your hostility is justified.

Filing a ticket through the link above is your only chance of any resolution, but it's still unlikely.

Uhhuh, even on Shiva it would take a long time for me to ask every single person on the server such a question. And its one of the smallest ones.
