Good day, adventurers!

Now that March has arrived, the winter cold is finally starting to give way to warmer weather. And with the arrival of the Doll Festival, it is springtime in Vana'diel once again. You will see cherry blossoms in full bloom all throughout town, giving you the chance to get something of a head start on this year's blossom viewing parties!

Once again, I have some important announcements to make along with the update information this month.

■ Server maintenance
Our efforts to replace the game's servers over the course of several version updates, including the recent one on February 12th, are finally reaching their conclusion.

In addition to the usual version update maintenance periods, we are planning two extended maintenance periods between March and April to help finish things up. We will be sending out notifications regarding these additional maintenance periods from the following locations:
Please keep an eye on these sources for more information to come.

In addition, please note that some of the planned server upgrades will include replacing the servers that host the official website. As such, while the servers are being replaced, you will be unable to view the official website or the forums until the work is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

Now then, I have a few topics to cover regarding the March version update.

■ Addition of a Limbus item shop
As I mentioned previously, we temporarily shut down Limbus as part of the February update, so along with the March update, we are making the items that can be obtained within the content available for purchase from an NPC.

Our plan is to utilize the Curio Vendor Moogle that was added as part of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel. You'll be able to get a variety of items here, including ancient beastcoins and upgrade materials, so we hope you find them useful for upgrading your characters.

■ This month's Ambuscade update and its rewards
In March, your opponents for Volume 1 are Corses, while Volume 2 features Porxies.

The Corses will attack with a combination of Charm and Doom, so watch yourselves out there! Especially those of you playing solo, because you'll lose all of your alter egos if you get charmed!

In Volume 2, the Porxies appear alongside Elementals. While these Elementals are present, any light or wind damage will be absorbed. I recommend that you defeat the Elementals first, or try using a different elemental attack instead.

In addition, we are lowering all of the hallmark requirements needed to trade for the Ambuscade rewards. This reduction applies to both the total rewards and also the exchangeable rewards. I believe this should help you get your equipment in order a bit faster than before, so I hope everyone takes advantage of this change.

■ Regarding the Race Change Service
Lastly, I have an update about the game's upcoming race change service.

Originally, we planned to implement the feature as part of the March version update, but in order to make sure all of the system-related adjustments are made properly, we are postponing the feature until the May version update. We'll be sharing more details once we get closer to its implementation. I know many of you were looking forward to taking advantage of this new feature, but please bear with us while we ensure that it launches without any issues.

That concludes my explanation of the March version update.
Safe journeys!
