Vanabout Round 4 new exemplar bonus campaign is misleading

In the vanabout annoucement it says for plaudit goal 150%

1. Exemplar Points Bonus Campaign
The exemplar points earned by defeating monsters will be doubled. (Up to a total combined amount of 500,000 points)

But in the new event notice it says

Defeating monsters and clearing certain content* will yield double the usual amount of exemplar points.

* Applicable game content: "Peach Power" battlefield, Besieged
Note: This bonus is valid up to a total combined amount of 500,000 exemplar points.
(Upon reaching Master Level 50, you no longer receive exemplar points, so there is no effect on the total points earned.)

Original vanabout notice does not say it is for "CERTAIN CONTENT" only. It says defeating monsters will be doubled, which would be ANY monsters, not CERTAIN monsters.

What is misleading? It still says "Defeating monsters and clearing certain content* will yield double the usual amount of exemplar points."

Meaning (the way I read it) that any monster that normally reward EP, will still do towards the bonus. The bonus also applies to the mentioned battle content.

It said nothing about being limited to 2 events, peach battle and beseiged.

I think it means two separate conditions: "Defeating monsters" as in ordinary ML parties and also: "clearing certain content" (which includes Peach Power and Beseiged).

There have been some very speculative translations lately and it's increasing confusion. I'm sure SE's NA team is stretched thin as it is. I hope they get the bandwidth to provide more accurate translations.

There is nothing misleading about this. Nobody grinds XP by clearing content. You're also not reading it correctly. It says "Defeating monsters AND clearing certain content." That means defeating monsters in general, and "clearing certain content. There is no limitation indicated by this on which monsters you can kill.

Maybe actually see how it actually works wh en it happens before crying "MISLEADING!!!!!"

But as far as how this is written, it basically means "anything that gives EP will have it doubled (up to a 500k bonus)", because only certain content grants EP anyway. You're basically crying UNFAIR! over something that hasn't even happened yet, because it may or may not apply to something you may or may not even actually do. Like seriously, give me a break. Bonus EP is bonus EP, why is it a big deal if some particular content that people DON'T PLAY BECUASE IT GIVES EP doesn't have the bonus applied?

Like the only potential exception that might matter at all is the impish box fight, which is specifically made to dole out EP.
Edit: In fact, this battle, whose primary purpose is giving EP, is specifically INCLUDED- along with Besieged.

What other content awards non-monster EP, besides vana'bout?

I don't see any problems here. And a bonus is a bonus. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, even the smallest easing of the ML grind is welcome.
