Need help with Voidwatch Provenance Proc system please

Can someone please help explain how one goes about proccing the battles for Voidwatch Provenance.

Specifically trying to Proc white (or whatever helps to get the dusky periapt)

I never had to learn how to proc the earlier battles since when the campaign is on, the white light is 100% until you reach provenance (the final 3 battles before the watcher).

I don't seem to have problems killing the mobs, but they never drop the key items and I know for sure its because i'm not proccing the mobs.

I've found numerous posts on instances saying it could be ability/magic/etc but I still don't understand how to work out which? I'm also doing it solo with trusts as I don't know anyone that has bothered climbing any higher than Aelo so they can farm heavy metal plates XD..

    Thanks,

So the key thing is, you're going to need to hand 400,000 cruor over to a Voidwatch Officer. They sell four key items that do most of the work for you: Periapt of Percipience, Periapt of Clarity, Periapt of Guidance, and Periapt of Sapience. When you perform actions such as casting a spell or using a job ability on the monster, those items may give you messages hinting at the specific weaknesses you need to hit. Percipience will tell you the element of a spell you need to use; Clarity will add the category (for example, songs or ninjutsu.) Guidance will tell you the weapon type for weaponskills, and the job for job abilities; if the job ability is a pet command, Sapiance will add the mob family, avatar element, or automaton frame required. Clarity only functions if you have Percipience, and Sapience only works if you have Guidance; you can't just buy the two 50,000 cruor key items and hope they work out for you.

If the fight has lasted 5 minutes or longer, and you find you can't hit whatever spells/abilities are required, you can target the monster and use /fume to cause it to re-roll its weaknesses; this can be repeated once every five minutes, or every 30 seconds if you have the Rhapsody in Mauve key item. This needs to be done by whoever the monster currently has the highest enmity for, so you can't really take advantage of this feature if you're using a trust to tank.

As to the specific spells, abilities, and weaponskills that can be chosen as an option, that's a lot more information than I'm willing to copy, paste, and format; you can find them listed on the BlueGartr wiki (https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Voidwatch_Weaknesses), Fandom wiki (https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/wiki...tch_Weaknesses), or GamerEscape wiki (https://ffxi.gamerescape.com/wiki/Vo...tch_Weaknesses).
