Will there ever be a way to reset synergy training?

I have messed up my ability to synergize higher level crafts because I didnt know what I was doing back then

I would be so happy to see this implemented. I spent a long time leveling synergy and I enjoy making Fotia items for people. But I didn't choose the best Training regiment ...almost 9 years ago!

...In fact, I would like to be able to change my Training Regimen frequently to experience the effect of each choice. It should be simple, like creating the portable synergy furnace perhaps. (or just let us change it at the NPC).

There isn't, but if you keep going you can reasonably balance it out, or just cooperate with somebody to make up for what you don't have, since that was one of the features of synergy in the first place, crafting that needed more than one person. Though given the hardest crafts got easy versions you could make yourself (things like the galley kitchen) I'd say that met with limited success.

Unfortunately getting someone else who has the right synergy training is the only option for the high end ones

Well it's what they intended- it was specifically designed to be a group-crafting concept.

I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to respec though, just that there are ways around this issue.
