    Skill Ups.. Yeah right!

    Okay, on Lakshimi server we have the Martial master Kupower.. ive got signet up, spamming a variety of BLU spells to level it up, and im getting 0. nada, ziltch! ... anyone care to explain? I have cast over 150 spells now and NO SKILL UP.. not ever 0.1... My Blue magic skill is at 296 and im getting annoyed now.

    What monsters are you casting on? If it is abyssea kupo powers do not work there.

    Im using all self-casting spells outside sebina, as its blue magic i can use any spell to get a skill up

    Hmm, not sure then I know some of other skill ups for other jobs are hard even with having a ton of skill gear equipped to help raise it the skill ups are far too slow.

    I'm not sure self buffs count. I think you have to engage a monster for it to work. I've been through BRD song skill ups and now enhancing with martial master in effect. Neither has been anything but slow. BRD went by 100 times faster as soon as I found a target monster to skill on. I suppose it might work with self buffing, you just can't tell the difference.

    Enhancing 320+ is an utter nightmare. I haven't been trying and it got that high on it's own. I started trying the other day and it's like... holy shi...

    the sdkillup tweak was for MOBS that check DC to your skill. Look up your next levvel cap in the skill caps chart, then find mobs that spawn at least DC to that level and up, and go spam spells on them. I do this and get lots of .3-.5's that way--even without kupower up. Sky dolls were great for me to get to 300-305 on most all weapons. Glen crabs in Grauberg abby work nicely too sometimes.

    Martial Master has no affect whatsoever on magical skillups, as far as I know. Might work for physical BLU spells, but I'm not a very leveled BLU and have no idea. Also, you get skillups much more frequently vs NPCs and monsters than if you're targeting yourself or other players.

    I know that some of the Fan shaped Breath spells give mad skill ups^^ Thats how I skilled in Abyssea. It never missed^_-

    I want to see a system whereby you can trade merit points for skill up points. This wouldn't go above the cap.

    self buffs work
    you get skill ups doing enhancing and same thing with blue using healing blu spells and buffs like cocoon , metalic body etc etc . I found it is always slow when you do it on yourself other than a mob ~.*
