First of all, thank you to everyone that joined us for Vana'Bout - Round 3! Thanks to all of you that participated, you once again successfully completed the challenge.

For those of you playing the English version, I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the text issues that were present in the objectives and any confusion they may have caused. We are currently revamping the procedure for our internal checks in order to make sure this does not happen again.

I would like to congratulate all of you on completing the expanded objective! As a reward for completing all of the content's objectives, the following will be applied to each of the game's Worlds.
- Ambuscade Point Bonus Campaign
- Extension of the campaign period for the campaigns starting on Tuesday, November 12 (JST)
I hope you take full advantage of both opportunities.

Moving on, as you are undoubtedly aware, November marks the "Eleventh" month of the year.
As always, we will be airing an episode of Freshly Picked Vana'diel to commemorate the year's end. However, we'll also be combining it with an episode of "Live with A.M.A.N.!", which initially launched in spring of this year. This combined broadcast will air at 8 p.m. (JST) on Monday, November 25th, so don't miss it!

We plan to cover future version updates as well as some interim results from the FFXI survey, which is scheduled to run from early- to mid-November. The survey results will be taken into consideration when planning the future of FFXI's development, so we appreciate hearing from all of you FFXI fans around the world!

Now, I'd like to talk a bit about the November version update.

Ambuscade
Your first opponent will be moogles, to then be followed by mantids. You can complete Volume 1 by defeating the giant moogle, but watch out for its SP abilities as well as an aura that features a powerful sleep effect. The moogles will give out orders before using an SP ability, so keep your eyes and ears open!
In Volume 2, the mantids' abilities will change according to the amount of HP they have remaining. Their final special move is especially powerful, so make sure to protect against status ailments and keep your enhancing magic at the ready! Stun is also effective, so try to work it into your battle strategies.

Besieged
Sorry for the wait! We are finally adding support for higher levels after seeing it requested in the forums and various other venues. The level limit will be increased by one, meaning that Level 9 beastmen are now joining the fray.

Naturally, the Five Serpent Generals tasked with defending Al Zahbi will also be powered up according to your consecutive defenses. Even if you do not have enough item level equipment, I feel like you can still participate in and enjoy this content with people you meet within the game, as well as your friends and fellow linkshell members, of course.

In addition to the adjustments described above, we are also planning to add the following:
- On-screen display of the Serpent Generals' HP
- Increase to the experience points earned following a successful defense
- Addition of new reward currencies and items to exchange for them

Going forward, we plan to continue increasing the Besieged levels, and will also be adding new rewards to go along with them. Our goal is to continue making various adjustments and improvements so that you can continue to enjoy Besieged for a long time to come.
