Autotarget seems to prioritize ranged monsters such as blm, maybe because it considers those more dangerous.

The lag is linked to using certain addon, and if you're in an alliance where most of the players are using those specific things and then in an alliance where they are not you'll notice the difference. When many people in the alliance are using a specific addon you're effectively ddossing everyone else in the alliance.
