is it possible to make a linkshell app we can use to talk even when we zone and without waiting 2 minutes per zoning? we could use it to even have more features.

iirc Stainlav used to manage Guildwork premium that has similar feature, unfortunately he already quit for sometime. Unless someone would step up for it, think that other option is the next best thing, & imo way better anyways since ingame chat plagued with limits like no access during zone loading, something FF14 had this fixed since beginning.
Plus discord has more uses way beyond this. Unlimited personal screenshot storage for examples & many other things.![]()
Maybe you should. Unless you're going to quit it again from crafting rants.
It's not realistic for SE to make a app or service when Discord been around for a decade and is universally used by *most* people.
In a perfect world it could be made into the Companion App for 14 but it won't, not even 14 players use that app a lot. They use discord.

FFXI might look rough and be constantly overshadowed by its more narratively ambitious sibling, but if it weren’t for Vana’diel, we might not have Discord today.
Just fact-checking & wow! That is amazing, never did realize same max being co-founder with discord.
That said, too bad though that so far haven't seen similar integration as GW did with FFXIAH for players tracker stuff, or there's already some that I haven't knew yet. ^^;
