Does this armor now give the wyvern a lv45 subjob when you are drg90, or will it still stop at 37?

As far as I can tell, there's no reason for the wyvern not to receive a subjob trait that is gained by your sub in the 37-45 range. Since, as far as I know, wearing the Wyrm Mail when the wyvern is summoned, a random trait from your subjob is added to your wyvern's traits.

So it is just one random trait? I was of the impression that all passive traits from a lv 37 (or now 45) subjob would be added.

Ah, my info is outdated; yeah it seems multiple (if not all) traits are transferred over. I've never really played around with it ^^; But I think it's safe to assume SE didn't limit subjob traits to 37, either intentionally or accidentally (since, at least to me, that would be harder to program...)

When I got a hold of mine severl years back, I did lot of testing with /SAM and /WAR. I did see a change in breath attacks as well as the procks of Zanshin. Thin an increase in normal attacks as well as Double attacks. But as of now I'm currently not active due to RL so there's no real way for me to test it.

The job traits are not random at all. At the very least WAR always gives DA, SAM always gives Store TP and Zanshin, WHM always gives Autoregen and MDB.

Things that don't go to wyvern are: Max HP Bonus, TH, Fast Cast,

Perhaps this piece of armor should be looked at by the dev team to make sure having newer jobs as subjobs also works with it. I was thinking in particular blue mage, seeing as their traits are apparently never transfered to the wyvern.

I don't really think it would be broken to give the wyvern all, or almost all subjob traits. Not too many of them d irectly boosts the wyvern's damage anyway, except zanshin, double attack, and attack bonus traits. Perhaps Store TP makes a slight difference after a while too, idk.

Ae you positive blu mage traits aren't transfered? Don't forget you'd need to set the spells before summoning your wyvern.

Also, Fast Cast could well be a transfered trait but as the Wyvern doesn't cast any spells, you wouldn't notice it.

Finally, Kaiichi, you said you did a lot of testing with /Sam and /War and that you saw a change in bretah attack damage. What? Why would one have stronger breaths over the other? Because of Sam's Store TP meaning it has more TP when it fires the breath? Well that's all well and good except TP doesn't affect breath damage, and even if it did, the 15STP will equate to your wyvern getting +1TP per hit meaning in the 2-3 hits it gets in the time you reach 100TP, it will only have 2-3TP more, and that is NOT enough to plausibly show any viewable difference.

I can in fact confirm that max-hp boost gets transfered. Sub mnk call your wyvern and zone with the mail off and then on. you'll notice your wyvern's hp will no longer be maxed. To test the /blu job traits add auto-regen and call your wyvern, it doesnt transfer.

As far as my testing whent it was quite a long time ago so I could be thinging of a difrent trait. I do know TP facters into Healing breaths but is impossabule -- at the time of testine -- on a /SAM. So Im gonna say my braine mushed a cupple of jobs together when I orijinaly posted.

Also to clear up, I did testing with almost every /JOB back then save /BRD cuz even now it's still @1.
