Screen black out and weird message "Can not enter next area"

Steps:

I was camping the Helldiver NM for my hand-to-hand trials and decided to take a short break away from the computer. Before I left to get some food, I put myself on follow on a Zuu so I wouldn't lose the monster. A few seconds later my screen turned black and I received the message, "You can not enter the next area."

I don't know why I got that message but it only happened that one time and I haven't gotten the message again while camping any other NMs. I have frequent connection issues with my wireless router here, often disconnecting 3 or 4 times a day, but never having issues reconnecting at a later time. Could the weird "could not enter the next area" message be related to my disconnects?

I was not trying to log out or zone when I received the message, I was just standing near the bird monsters. Thanks for any advice!
