The effect of the job ability "Stymie" is lost when a Stymie-powered spell is resisted under various conditions.

Condition 1: The effect of "Stymie" is lost when a Stymie-powered spell is resisted via a monster's "Resist!" type trait.

Steps to reproduce:
1. As a Job Master level 99 Red Mage, travel to Dynamis-Bastok via the Trail Markings at (K-8) in Bastok Mines.
2. Once inside Dynamis-Bastok, approach the closest group of monsters nearby containing a Vanguard Defender.
3. Use the job ability "Stymie."
4. While under the effect of "Stymie," cast the spell "Sleep" on the Vanguard Defender. When the monster's Resist Sleep trait is triggered and a "Resist!" message appears on the log, the spell is resisted and the effect of "Stymie" is lost.

Condition 2:The effect of "Stymie" is lost when a Stymie-powered spell is resisted via a monster's Magic Shield via abilities such as "Magic Barrier".

Steps to reproduce:
1. As a Job Master level 99 Red Mage, travel to Ethereal Ingress #9 in Reisenjima.
2. Engage in battle with the notorious monster "Kabandha" as a party or solo.
3. Battle monster until Kabandha uses the special ability "Magic Barrier"
4. Use the job ability "Stymie"
5. While under the effect of "Stymie," cast the spell "Sleep" on the notorious monster Kabandha while "Magic Barrier" is in effect. The spell will be resisted and the effect of "Stymie' is lost.

According to the version update notes from November 5, 2013 regarding the introduction of Stymie, the effect of Stymie should not be lost when a spell under its effect is resisted. Links to the Stymie description posted below.
