Good day, adventurers! I hope this letter finds you well as we hit summer's peak.

Here in Japan, the heat shows no signs of abating, with sweltering temperatures and humidity day in and day out. The sun's unrelenting rays can easily lead to sunburn, and whenever I'm hanging my clothes out to dry, I have to be careful not to burn myself when grabbing the red-hot metal clothespins. While I'm glad that my laundry dries so quickly, so too does the human body, making it vital to keep yourself well-hydrated throughout the day. (In fact, it's the perfect weather for a refreshing Frontier Soda!)

When one thinks of summer, fireworks often come to mind. The same holds true for Vana'diel as well, with the long-running Sunbreeze Festival making its annual return this year. Throughout the festival grounds, you'll hear the familiar melody of Sunbreeze Shuffle playing as you take in the stage show and various vendors. I hope you enjoy the many sights and sounds this summer festival has to offer.

At the same time, the Green Festival is being held in Lower Jeuno, with a special store stocking various specialty goods from across the land. There is even a mysterious Morbol-themed café as well. This is a good opportunity to stock up on various items, so be sure to pay a visit to Jeuno when you get a chance!

This month, your Ambuscade opponents include Meebles and then Morbols.

The Meebles utilize an elemental attack after a certain period of time has passed, so use a Barspell of the corresponding element to negate the damage. Also watch out for the Urchins that appear from time to time! Try to take them down before they can use Souleater followed by Hundred Fists.

Meanwhile, on the Morbol side of things, Jody, Julika, and Vivian from the morbol idol group SHINING BLESS make their long-awaited return! This is your chance to meet these three songstresses (?!) in person and shake their hand... or should that be tentacle? Once you've made eye contact with your favorite group member, be sure to give them a shout-out using /cheer.
