Yeah... not surprised (unfortunately).

I've only defeated Ghatjot so far, and it would have been nice to have at least one earring from it every run... but I suppose that would be "too good". :\

I am glad they put effort into adding new things (thank you!), but this one seems rather pointless to put it blunt-like.
