its s hold over to how they're doing stuff - like it coudl be that exp over a maxed out capp (exp, merits, capacity points, job points, and MLV points now get coverted into buff or somethign useful like a moogle mania stat, and ifyou keep exping you just get permanent buffs on
soliek 10k poitn give you permanent protect effect, 20k gives you shell etc. its a bad thign b/c you end up going to this god-mode in an online game but thenhave no way to ascend the god mode once everyone has it.
its a dev proglem for sure, but not one that is horrible or NON-implementable in thesis: maybe just limited to basic buffs like pro/shell/haste 1/RR - stuff you can get for points at those white books, maybe food duration its a short term stop gap without walking away from a totally automated MMO, or shutting it down - but tis still a forward progression into the same maps and content and its JUST exp.
a new zone or job woudl be nice - or a set of MLV job abilities or something big and replayable - typically a new job is that answer but idk how SE feels about impelemting a new job 25 years on.
