Why can't the account management site remember my credit card?

This is driving me crazy. On the Square Enix Account management system, I have the option to "Register/Update Payment Method". That lets me enter a set of credit card details. That's it. That's all that option does.

But then I do that, I register my credit card there, and every option I try to reactivate require me to enter the same credit card details again anyway!

What is the point of this? If I have a credit card registered as a payment method for the account, why doesn't choosing to pay with a credit card just use that information?

Good question, somebody tell us and we'll all know.

And while we're at it, somebody explain all the other stupid stuff about the account site as the whole design is pretty baffling.

23 years and they can't fix errors "401" or "i2501" for payments.

If anyone of us had that job we'd of been fired within the week.
23 years and still can't fix the broken payment systems & still working there?

Who do we have to talk to get SE to care about this?

I wanna know things too.
