If someone gets moderated, they are supposed to get a 10 day warning.

There is no 10 day warning on this forum, you immediately get banned after the 10 days are out. This is why barely anyone posts here, any minor infraction leads to a permanent ban.

While I do share the sentiment, think they mostly moderate over FF14 forum side. Hasn't seen any serious moderation in FF11 forum for years.

This is only true of the FFXIV forums. People really don't get punished here very easily. Just look at Uroah/Uriah/whatever. He spams this board every day with useless crap and has only been actioned slightly more than the bots he goes on about.

While it is technically operated by the same staff, 99% of the activity is over there, so they aren't really on here unless told or something gets flagged.

People get banned all the time, you just don't know cause there is no notification. If someone just suddenly stops posting, they probably got banned.

Not really. You see the same people posting all the time. If any of them were getting banned, you'd notice them stop posting.

This has only really happened with Uriah/oh/etc. as you can see their name has changed multiple times over the course of their spam thread. With one or two other exceptions I haven't seen people getting banned. They definitely run a tighter ship on the XIV forum.
