Yea... except Ambuscade waits are 20+ minutes on Fenrir right now. The only reason we may not meet the goal is there aren't enough servers to support us sitting in there 15-30 minutes doing objectives.

The Gold Tier personal reward is 1,300 plaudits. That's the five Round RoEs netting you 30 each (150) plus the ten Daily RoEs netting you 10 each (100 per day), so at minimum meeting Daily RoEs for basically 12 days out of the 14 (although 15 resets) it's running for.

And that's at least three Ambuscades per day. Woo.

Would have been nicer if it was a variety of events to undertake, rather than just Ambuscade. I hope it's not just varied goals for Ambuscade every month (presuming it will be because that's where the event Moogle is).

I'm not optimistic. If there isn't some kind of catch-up mechanic to let people pick up the points they miss by not logging in and spending an hour or three on Ambuscade every day, then the event is dead in the water. I don't think anyone was expecting this to be so restrictive.

24,412,500 was a wildly ambitious ultimate target when each character is limited to 1550 plaudits over the life of the event. I'm not sure how many people are actually playing daily (mmo-population.com estimates 28,800, mmostats.com puts at around 17,600) but it would take 15,750 characters scoring every single possible plaudit to hit the 150% stretch goal. That doesn't seem realistic; that much Ambuscade is a chore. Doing it for just one day was a chore.

To look at it another way... each day we, as a community, need to make a bit over 10% of the goal to hit the 6 day campaign extension. There are no make-up days, no picking up the slack over the weekend - each and every day those plaudits need to be shoveled in, or they vanish. As of right now, 12 hours into the first day of the event, we're at... 1%. That is not promising.

Ambuscade rewards have already been revamped 3-4 times since it's inception.

Why would we do Ambuscades x20 in a month ....for more ambuscade point accumulation in the following month?

I just don't understand the incentivization? I mean, you might as well give us a "Signet +50% duration" campaign, if 10,000 people get Signet in a month? The work/effort doesn't translate to a reward.

If December's Ambuscade plaudits resulted in a January Gallimaufry +25% campaign, that might be more worthwhile, don't you think?

I might be alone here but I'd really like a Exemplar Points campaign so I can at least for a little while grind a fair amount without being tempted to pay mercs or botters.
