Square Enix and GMs Failure to solve any in game problems

I reported a scam back in August 14th. I had chat with 3 GMs (by pure luck! has Treasure hunter +12!), because when you summit a ticket on the in-game help desk it takes over 5 hours for someone to reply. I have fall sleep 7 out of 10 tickets I summited over this past moth. No GM can give me an answer as far the investigation they open, and I cant get a solid answer out of anyone. The last ticket I summited send me to these forums...

Taking hours to reply and the majority of the time sending an automated reply. it's disgusting.

Yeah, is a joke at this point. I talk to two of them and told them. This is not a free service. The level of customer service is so low, not sure why we are paying monthly fees for.

The truth is quite obvious, SE does not care about this game anymore. They used the heads of the division of MMOs and made them make a mainline FF game. That sidelined the majority of anything planned for those games... imagine what they thought of XI in that process, it didn't even exist to them. They will continue to defund this game and strip down every single thing until they suck it dry. Then they will decide the game isn't profitable anymore, gee maybe people moved on! Its sad, but not much you can do, especially when you have a defeatist community that tries to shush people down that get upset over the current state of affairs. They will come into threads and tell you to "deal with it" even though we all know we are paying customers for this old game and they should do the absolute bare minimum. You would think they are capable of at least that right?

I agree, we not asking for anything special, but just the bare minimum. To believe that at this point asking for the bare minimum is such an inconvenience... Well the only thing left is to show with my wallet that I mean business. If they don't solve the issue before my next billing cycle, I'll just cancel FFXI...

Also, the "bare minimum" for you is getting special treatment because you messed up and aren't taking responsibility. This is like when people pay mercs for something and then don't get it and expect the GM to "enforce the deal." No, it's not their problem, stop bothering them with your personal ones.

It's speculation, but I reckon the reason they won't make a unified sub with 14 is because the coporate side doesn't want to show a noninsignificant dip in their profits with their intention to cut the game someday
