All they have to do is add 1 stray polygon and it's not the same model, so let's have them do that, then your only even slightly close to maybe but not really being valid argument against this is knocked down.

Your chief argument is that it uses "the same model." Even though it looks different. There are TONS and TONS of items in this game that share the same model. That doesn't make them the same item. Hell, there are many items that are 100% identical in appearance but have different attribtues. Few to no peopel complain that those items look alike, whether they're notable items or not.
