Corse Ambuscade Sets Attack to 1 instead of 9999

    Operating System: Windows 10

    ISP: Spectrum

    Type of Internet: Cable

    Date & Time: March 4, 2023 around 12:30 a.m.

Frequency: Sometimes, but it may have been always. It's possible that some of the steps didn't take place after we noticed the issue, but we were able to reproduce it reliably.

    Character Name: Velner

    Race: Elvaan

    World: Fenrir

    Main Job: MNK

    Support Job: WAR

    Area Coordinate: Ambuscade/Legion A

    Party or Solo: Party

    NPC Name: N/A

    Monster Name: Bozzetto Pishogue

    Steps:
    1. Enter Ambuscade with a MNK/WAR, BRD, COR, WHM, GEO
    2. Use Crooked Cards and Chaos Roll, Honor March, Valor Minuet IV, and Valor Minuet
    V as buffs
    3. Engage Bozzetto Pishogue and fight him until he uses either Hecatomb Macabre or
    Gambol Macabre
    4. After Charm wears off, have the GEO cast a Geo-Fury bubble and the MNK use
    Berserk.
    5. Attack will roll over to 1 and Defense will be 9999. At this point, the MNK will hit
    for nothing but 0.

It appears that this issue was caused by having "too much" attack after the post-charm buff is applied. If we dismissed the Geo-Fury bubble, attack would go back to 9999 and the MNK could continue to deal damage as before.
