November 10, 2022 (JST) Version Update

[Gunisaka]

• A new entry has been added to The Voracious Resurgence
  
  
  
  Players must speak with Gumbah in Bastok Mines (J-7) after meeting the following prerequisites to accept the quest.
  
  • Have completed the quest The Prime Weapons.
  • Have completed the Chains of Promathia mission Newfound Family.

• Prime Weapons are now able to be further reforged.
  Players wishing to reforge their Prime Weapons must use Gallimaufry, which is obtainable in Sortie, and a new item known as eikondrite.

  A note regarding Prime Shields/Instruments and progression in The Voracious Resurgence:
  In order to progress with The Voracious Resurgence in the December version update and beyond, players must be in possessions of a stage two Prime Weapon that has a DMG value. This means that Prime Shields/Instruments alone are not sufficient to progress in The Voracious Resurgence, so make sure you have access to a different stage two Prime Weapon as well.
  

• Records of Eminence has undergone the following additions and adjustments.
  • The monthly Records of Eminence objectives have been swapped out.

• The limited-time alter ego of Matsui-P has returned.
  
  
  
  • Acquiring the Alter Ego
    
    • If you have completed the quest Trust, all you have to do is log in after the Thursday, December 10, 2022 version update. No message will be displayed in the log window.
      
    • If you have not completed the quest Trust, you must first complete that quest and then log out or change areas. No message will be displayed in the log window.
  • Period of Availability
    Matsui-P will be available from the Thursday, November 10, 2022 version update until the May 2023 version update.
    * Period of availability subject to change.

• The limited-time alter ego of Cornelia has been removed.
  
  • Cornelia thanks you for taking her on your journeys.
  • The deletion will be done automatically upon logging in after the Thursday, November 10, 2022 version update.

• New designations have been added.

• Sortie has undergone the following additions and adjustments.
  • New notorious monsters have been added to the section of Sortie that opened up in the October version update.
    • Using the temporary items Ra’Kaznar fragment #1/#2/#3/#4 will enable you to tackle these new foes.
    • The addition of these notorious monsters means that the section added in the October 2022 update to Sortie will now yield a total of two treasure chests.
  • Gartell’s initial mode will now be decided at random upon entering the area.
    * Note that once randomly determined, the mode will remain the same even if you leave the area and enter again.
  • Players will now obtain a corresponding key item when they meet the conditions for reforging a particular job’s Empyrean armor to +3.
    * If you met the conditions for one or more jobs prior to the November 2022 version update, examine the Diaphanous Transposer in Kamihr Drifts (F-6) to receive the appropriate item(s).
  • A new reward, eikondrite, has been added.
    • Eikondrite may be obtained by players who are in possession of one or more prime weapons.

• Ambuscade has undergone the following additions and adjustments.

• The foes in Normal and Intense Ambuscades have been swapped out.
  * As such, the corresponding Records of Eminence objectives have changed.
  
  

• Normal Ambuscades have undergone the following adjustments.

• Thillloab’s HP has been decreased by 20%

• Thillloab’s special ability Mantodean Reprisal will now further reduce damage when an enhancing effect is removed.

• Intense Ambuscades have undergone the following adjustments.

• Blazenought’s magic damage taken when it is the only foe active has been increased from 250% to 300%.

• Frostnought’s physical damage taken when it is the only foe active has been increased from 250% to 300%.

• Blazenought’s magic damage taken during the period of time after the message “The magical energies dissipate” is displayed has been increased from 400% to 600%

• Frostnought’s physical damage taken during the period of time after the message “The magical energies dissipate” is displayed has been increased from 400% to 600%

• The amount of physical and magic damage taken by foes when both Frostnought and Blazenought are active has been reduced.

• Blazenought
  • Physical damage taken: From 50% to 33%.
  • Magical damage taken: From 150% to 33%.
• Frostnought
  • Physical damage taken: From 150% to 33%.
  • Magic damage taken: From 50% to 33%.

• The damage modifier and debuff duration of the following abilities used by Blazenought and Frostnought on Difficulty have been decreased.

  Seismic Impact / Fire Arm Cannon / Eradicator / Ice Incinerator / Ballistic Double Kick / Scapula Beam

  • Damage modifier: From 1.0x to 0.75x.

• Certain items obtainable in exchange for hallmarks have been swapped out.

• Certain items obtainable for total hallmarks have been swapped out.

• Certain items obtainable in exchange for badges of gallantry have been swapped out.

• The master level cap has been increased to 50.

• Level adjustments have been abolished in the following areas.

• Monster locations have been adjusted in Bibiki Bay.

• Several monster spoils have been adjusted in accordance with the latest entry in The Voracious Resurgence.
  * These adjustments have no effect on the drop rate of existing spoils.

    This storage slips allows storage of all item level 119 Empyrean +3 armor.

• The issue wherein logging out in Sortie and then logging back in would cause music to not play.

• The issue in Very Difficult and Difficult Intense Ambuscades wherein Frostnought’s ability Ballistic Double Kick’s anti-equipment swapping effect lasted longer than intended.

• The issue with the high-tier mission battlefield ★The Wyrm God wherein specific temporary items’ effects would fail to fade.

• The issue wherein certain attribute of the Boii Cuisses +3 were incorrect. The text has been revised to read “Fencer”+3 and certain attributes have been added.

• The issue wherein the displayed value of the Ebers Pantaloons +3’s Divine Benison effect was incorrect.

• The issue with the Nukumi Earring wherein the Pet: Lv. +1 effect would not apply under certain conditions.

• The issue wherein monster graphics were incorrect while under the effect of the black magic spell Gravity II under certain conditions.

• The issue wherein the Munitions Moogle was unavailable.

• The issue wherein moving from a waypoint in the outside world to a waypoint in Western Adoulin would cause the screen to go black and become unresponsive under certain conditions.

• The issue wherein disconnecting and then logging back in using certain methods would cause the macros of other characters on the same account to be overwritten.
