It be comedic in the extreme to ban anyone over this. Especially with how rampant botting is. In fact there is a guy botting Sovereign Behemoth this very moment on Asura.If the devs noticed it themselves and didn't intend for it, there might be some kind of bug abuse bans over it; if it gets reported, it's out in the open and the worst that's likely to happen is that it gets patched out.
Who knows, maybe this is going to end up dropped into "working as intended" and we'll know that was always the intended strategy. Wouldn't that be nice?
Of course. Square-Enix would never ban players for taking advantage of a bug or unintentional programming oversight to defeat an intentionally very challenging foe in an unintended way which circumvents a large part of the potential danger.
