BLU magic kinda is a bit of a fail, I mean granted you can boost it a shit ton and make it ok, but your always going to be topped by SCH or BLM.
SCH or BLM also don't have melee damage + WS (that is significant) and their spells don't take 0.5~0.75s to cast
