In older FF games, BST could catch a monster, then release it later to perform an attack. It basically works like the older summons, or Odin and Alexander in XI I suppose.

I talked about brief BST summons before, but this falls more along the lines of BST origins in FF. I suppose it could work like this:

BST equip whip in ammo slot.

Stronger whips, increases the chance to catch.

It is the BST version of TH

Upon defeating any mob, there is a chance the BST will catch it.

Then, the BST can release the mob later.

Release can only be used in areas which permits large monsters.

Any family can be caught, except Avatars.

I suppose you can catch multiple mobs and select from a list?

Catch replaces BST affinity.

The mob performs a set move every-time.

It works solo or in party, like TH.

Release recast is 3 mins.

Release pets lvl scales with main hand weapon.

Catch only works with a whip, in case the BST in farming with no intentions of catching anything.

I feel this could bring back the old solo hunting luster BST had back in the day. It will also get BST pumped to take on certain mobs, because there is a possibility of catching it, and using it for group or solo play.
