If you're having trouble posting an image on the forum, make sure you put in the full URL with the image file extension, such as .jpg or .png.
On the image upload website, once you upload the image try right clicking your image and select the "Copy image link" option (menu name will vary depending on your browser).
The end result before you submit should look something similar to this but with the actual image upload site's URL:
The actual code will have left/right square brackets for the IMG tags.Code:|IMG|https://imageuploadsite/image.jpg|IMG|
