Okay Soul Jump and Lancer's Cuissots+2 have been out for a a few months now and we know very little about either.
What we know about Soul Jump:
-With a Wyvern out, it will always deal critical damage
-With a Wyvern out, it will always return 3x the normal amount of TP if it doesn't miss or hit for 0.
-It generates very little, if no enmity at all.
What we know about Lancer's Cuissots +2
-We know its STR+9 VIT+9 and Attack+18
-We know it increases Critical Hit damage by 10%
What we DON'T know about Soul Jump
-What suppresses enmity really does or means.
What we DON'T know about Lancer's Cuissots +2
-What 'Enhances 'Soul Jump effect' does or means.
There some theories, most were debunked.
"Enhances Soul Jump" does not yield more damage or TP, nor is it any noticable increase in accuracy or attack. My theory is that Soul Jump is an upgraded form of High Jump due to the wording of both of the job abilities: "Delivers a high jumping attack...". High Jumping attack in High Jump's case means it reduces your enmity. Since Soul Jump has the same description, perhaps it also sheds hate too. I didn't do any tests but I have some anecdotal evidence:
When I duo'd Mx'Grah, I opened with a 2700 Drakesbane followed by a 600 Spirit Jump. The THF used a 1600 Evisceration while the mob was missing me due to Third Eye+Seigan. The mob landed one hit on me for 260ish damage then I used a Soul Jump for 1500 damage(Triple Attack from Atma) the mob turned away from me and started to hit the THF again. This makes me believe it sheds hate and that the Lancer Cuissots increase hate loss much like Wyrm Brais do for High Jump.
Unless the developers could give us a clue or tidbit to its effect like they did with Scholar's AF3 body "Enhances Addendum White/Black effect". I don't know how I could get them to view this, but maybe the more people that respond/reply, the higher the chance!
