Lack of Weekend STFU Activity is Detrimental to Server Environments

For the past few months, some RMT operations have been creating Galka alliances and level synching in South Gustaberg. They set 3 party syncs at level 10-12 or so and put them out of EXP range, and then they all set Crystal and South Gustaberg RoEs and slaughter everything in the zone. It is all automated and they churn through many mobs in the zone, crowding legitimate players out.

They cap sparks and accolades, then move the Galkas into Bastok Markets. They exchange sparks and accolades for items to NPC and then buy Crossbow Bolts another character is bazaaring for 1 million gil or more (see screenshot someone posted on FFXIAH). The fighting Galka are then deleted and new characters are created to get around the sparks and accolades cap.

The bazaaring character just sits there, obvious as can be and pooling the gil. They are likely sitting on quite a bit of gil as the weekend rolls on.

This operation is no doubt reported by many players across most/all servers where it occurs. They begin a weekly process on Thursday night Eastern time and run through the end of the weekend, wrapping up before SE begins banning accounts again. Players/RMT have observed SE only bans accounts Monday through Thursday 1-6 AM Eastern and then calls it a week.

Now that SE has proven they aren't acting in time to put a stop to this, there are now reports of either an expansion to the operation or a new operation starting up in Ronfaure doing the same thing. More bad actors are likely to take note (if they haven't yet) and mimic this sort of cycle.

If a STFU representative or GM would simply look over blatant reports once or twice through the weekend, this operation would be snuffed out due to it not being worth their time. Simply nuking the pooling character on each server would deter the RMTs severely, as they'll lose out on many, many millions of gil.

The stupid part is the speed hacking, if they didn't do that they would not be getting reported as much.

Seeing as though the reports don't actually get seen, it makes sense to maximize profit by running faster.

i was wandering what they were doing. so this just proves what everyone was saying after the nerf. capping sparks/accolades didnt hurt or stop RMT from doing their thing.

Nothing square does ever works as it was intended ironically. They don't put the slightest amount of thought into anything they do.

Why exactly are they buying bolts now? Is it the easiest/most efficient way to store gil in items or something? Why not just keep the prize powder etc. until its needed?

edit: I suppose there's nothing stackable to 99 to buy with sparks that would work, never mind

Anyway, this is just more proof that putting the cap on sparks only punishes legitimate players and barely even slows down the RMT at all.
