We all know you're reporting the same bunch of bots over and over, you don't need to keep reminding us that you're doing it. It's something we can very safely assume is happening.

And SE doesn't do any live streaming. The live vanadiel cam doesn't show any chat, much less shouts or yells.

All streamers hide the chat box (and should be). This isn't just community reps. This is so nobody's names or chat are recorded when they don't know they're being recorded.

It has absolutely zero to do with them being a community rep and zero to do with you or your conspiracy theories.

I do it as well, though I do it by putting my webcam in front of it, which is the best place to put it anyway so it doesn't cover up actual gameplay stuff. This is respect for the privacy of all users, not SE hiding "evidence."

No effort to hide the players names with /names. No effort to hide the party members. Suspicious effort to hide the chat box specifically. They aren't fooling anyone.

Wrong. It's not fake, most streamers do it. Many people would behave differnetly if they knew they were appearing on someone's stream and they could see the chat. Particualrly, if they didn't want to appear on camera, they would leave if the streamer wasn't doing the respectful thing.

But you're so blinded by conspiracy, that it's pointless to discuss. Even if I wanted to accept your argument, which I don't, there is little point in hiding bot activity when everybody knows it's happening anyway. The rep has no motiviation to do it beyond the reasons any streamer would do it. There is no conspiracy to hide the fact that bots exist, anyone can play the game and discover bots, anyone can find discussion threads on the internet with google. Your argument is utterly ridiculous. I would make an analogy about it but it would be inappropriate for this setting.

I don't work for SE, I don't even work in PR for any company, get yourself together.

This is not something that just a community rep would do. This is a standard thing that is common among streamers, whether you want to accept it or not. There is nothing "suspicious" about masking the chat box, what-so-ever.

Believe it or not, this thread will not do anything. Surely, the community reps have had to hide the chatlogs for the sake of everyone's privacy (little to no experience with actually playing the game).

For cheating, if they added just survival guide warps & /mounts early on, getting around would have been drastically less of a pain.
equipsets still need work. game makes available doing actions via menu & macro [ctrl/alt+W/B/M (weaponskill/pet ability/spell) is just a shortcut to the menu], yet only the macro version allows equip changes in line with the skills. If design was followed through to completion, we'd have the ability to make a set of auto-swaps from menu & a 2nd set via macro.


ugh, i'm sub'd to SE's FFXI YT channel and I accidentally clicked one before the site launched; Zzz. Not even going to bother watching anything else pushed for that site unless i see clips from a vid on AH that is interesting.
