Can't use fire crystals to synth

I went to pull six fire clusters from the moogle. The system looked like it glitched and at first said you pull five then it said six clusters. I used the cluster. After that when I go to synth with with a fire crystal the fire crystal is grayed out. All the other crystals work fine. But I can no longer do any synths that require a fire crystal.

I tried running the file check and that didn't help.

try getting rid of all the ones currently in your inventory, and buy some off the AH.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've already traded all to the Ephemeral Moogle. I bought a stack off the AH and still the same problem. I doubt dumping all the ones with the Ephemeral Moogle will solve the problem plus I have over 400k gil in fire crystals.

I'm at a loss. I'm going to assume this isn't just within one play session?

Can you use inferno crystals or w/e the ones that sign items are called?

It's grayed out whenever I log in. I'll give the inferno crystals a try next time I log in.
