Steps:
1. I got disconnect in silver sea remnants
2. i been trying to log in again for a couple hour and cant do that
3. it keep telling me same character already logged in
4. after many tries the game tell me server time out

Steps:
1.Entered Silver Sea Remnants II and disconnected.
2.Tried to log back in, got character already logged in error.
3.Tried to log in later, got black screen that said downloading data and then a no response from server error FFXI-3001
4.Contacted support was given no help. Asked for my character to be moved out of instance, was told they can't move characters... even though there is a faq section that lays out their policy on moving characters.

I've been trying to help a linkshell mate do Silver Sea Remnants I for An imperial heist for a couple days now. We cant even get in, Constantly getting ether nothing from the door, or it goes through connecting to server "can not connect to server". I guess I would rather have that then get stuck inside.

Just wanted to update you, they are doing System maint on Silver Sea Remnants in about 23 minutes, they said it should only last a few minutes. Try checking in an hour or so and see if your released. Ill cross my fingers for you!
