Why do you keep linking to that? I can't even find what official thing links there. The patch notes link you to the official game manual, which has the correct information.

I don't just feel or think the information I provided is pertienent, it is the correct information. I did not provide the link you have in your post above, I provided a different one which is correct. I also described the steps to become a mentor in my post and that information is correct. If you're going to continue to disregard it, then nobody here can help you, as the information I provided is correct.

The only possible explanation at this point is you're playing the wrong game and / or posting on the wrong forum.

The link that *I* posted takes you to a page that looks like this, which contains the correct steps for becoming a mentor in Final Fantasy XI.

I'm guessing you got it from a community website (a wiki of some sort), which still has or had the old information and links to the old guides on the official website.

posted here and was bashed not once but 7 times. placed a GM report no one responds.
called Square Enix support line (858)790-7529. I was then told to report to GM- Game Masters again with ticket number and escalation which I did and finally, someone helped me and took all my information done and then told me to place a report here and wait until I see something commented on. I told the GM "Quest is not being completed had 20+ combat (wide area) objectives, 40+ combat (region) objectives, 30+ content objectives, and 10+ achievement objectives. all completed before this quest was available and I can not do the 10+ achievement due to will not allow you to do it beyond 1 time only. So Square Enix put up a quest that is not able to be completed if you have completed these steps beforehand and for whatever reason I am unable to complete and trigger a completion even though I had everything done before and after I activated the quest I did 20+ combat wide area and 40+ region and 40 runs of the content objective which was ambuscade due to it was repeatable content and also did vagary. and I kept getting bashed and people who bashed me are special really due to they are incompetent and do not know how to read what so ever so I am keeping it as simple as possible. !!!!!

Your ISP iin fact is the concern of anyone taking a bug report from you, even though this isn't the bug report forum. There are many issues that can be ISP specific and if you don't specify which one, they can't help you.

But it doesn't matter because you're going to ignore anything we say while falsely claiming that everyone here is "bashing" you while simultaneously bashing everyone else who is more than capable of reading while you continue to post inaccurate information from an old page on the payonline site which is no longer applicable.

But if you actually want some bashing, here's some fuel for your fire:

Frankly I'm glad that anyone who is this hostile to other people trying genuinely to help them is unable to unlock mentor status as your behavior on this forum doesn't suggest you'd be the best mentor. You claim that none of us can read, but you've never stopped to consider the fact that maybe, just maybe, your posts haven't been clear enough to accurately communicate your problem to others.
