Completed quest "What Price Loyalty" can not start quest "The Truth Lies Hid"

Steps:
1. Completed quest: "What Price Loyalty"
2. Got the reward "Fourth Staff" - https://www.ffxiah.com/item/18613/fourth-staff
3. Sold the staff to an NPC (maybe this is why I can not start the next quest?)
4. Waited a day
5. Tried to start quest "The Truth Lies Hid" but NPC Gentle Tiger will not give the quest.

I can not get the quest "The Truth Lies Hid" and continue progression.

I called the GM Ekuvalgan who said that I should be able to start the next quest and to make a bug report here.

I have tried waiting extra days going back to Xarcabard (S) and Examine the Forbidding Portal at (I-7).

"What Price Loyalty" does show as complete in my quest log.

Please advise.

I'm sorry please disregard this post I finally managed to figure out the problem. I didn't keep up to date with the missions.
