Again, the old currency isn't going to get used if there is nothing to buy with it. Its not like the assaults weren't a large amount of content, there are literally 50 something missions to do, but offers literally NOTHING to high level jobs other than the mythic weapon. Players can totally stock pile if they want, I don't understand what harm that does. Literally dropping level 99 mobs with items that already exist in game, doesn't even sound like a hard task, how is that functionality beyond their resources?New currencies are made because they want you to start from scratch on new content.
They should want to do it. Going to the same zones should carry benefit to old and new players, when adding new items for the same old content, just make it stupid expensive with that currency. So they can use the currency. Currency is meant to be used, they should want to do which ever content to achieve their goals. There should be a wide range of options to accomplish it.It defeats the purpose of adding/updating the content in the first place if people don't have to do it.
Assault 2.0 with all new currency is literally the last thing on earth I ever want to experience. Make 99 versions of the assault point armors/weapons. Make it expensive. Give more points for killing the 99 mobs in the original assault missions and call it a day.
Please no completely separate assault, that you need to complete all of the original assault to do, so dumb. Won't even be able to play it with newbies that come. Good content would be assault mission where you can do it with 3 level 50's doing the actual mission, 1 level 75 healer and 2 99's can duo a level 116-119 boss. Challenge, coordination, synergy of game play and content.
