You don't trade them to the moogle, you trade them to the box, just like every other seal/weapon item. >.>
It only works for the trial you're on though, i.e. if you're on Briareus you can't turn in Sobek skins. But that's why I'm not doing Sobek yet; rather, I'm turning in my helms at 1-4 at a time since I solo them. xD Saves inventory space though, which is sorely strained!

@Kensagaku
Judging from your signature, I'd guess you were holding onto seals for eight different jobs at one point? Head, hands, legs, feet... for all those jobs! I bet it was frustrating when you got seals that weren't for those jobs, and the inventory- space for all that probably really irked you.
Am I right?
Thanks for giving people suggestions on what to do with trial items that they're working on-
but then, you need to consider the ones people might start saving for, knowing that they're only a couple seals away from a +1, and start collecting those +2 items... yeah, their poor inventory![]()
its s joke -.-

i know how it works, i am on helms so i am stuck with them. I collected those things from ls event, I could trun around and say oh let them fall to people that will just toss them then 2 month later hey guys remember those skins you dropped? i need them now
Actually you're wrong. I generally don't hold onto many seals, and those that I do go straight to my storage or mog sack depending (I put my +1s in storage and my +2s in my sack... don't ask why, I'm not sure either) for the day or two it takes me to complete that set. I hate leaving things undone, and most of my jobs I got my seals after I leveled... honestly I've never had storage issues personally. If there's a +1 item I think I might want in the future, but haven't decided to level? I'll generally toss it, Abyssea's not all that hard.
However, to stay on topic with the thread, I didn't say that this concept of storage would be a bad idea. On the contrary, I like the idea. I don't personally need it, but I've never had to hold onto seals very often. I'm usually able to slap together a passable or better group to get things done in a reasonable amount of time. Others may not, however, and this system could certainly have some utility to it. Maybe they'll implement it, and I certainly wouldn't complain. But at the same time people need to learn not to bite off more than they can chew--or in this case, hold.
@Rambus - My apologies. :P I mistook the joke. But I know your pain, I have 8 Sobek skins myself that are taking up valuable Mog Sack space too because I haven't finished Briareus and my shell pretty much dumped them on me. ^^;

IIRC, seals will be deliverable to characters on the same account in the delivery system update (at least, they were conspicuously absent from the list of things you still won't be able to deliver that way).
Furniture storage is also an option -- most of the stuff I used to have in furniture storage is in porter moogles now.
Or you could just pass and let the seals be someone else's problem, if you have no intention of leveling that job.
making seals storable was confirmed in the early twitter feed (prior to forum), it was stated flat out that they would be. I have noticed that it is not even discussed in the timetable and the moderators on this forum have been completely mute on the subject, so I think the developers have possibly changed their mind and simply don't wish to acknowledge it.
Its a very juvenile response that most outgrow by about age 6 to pretend something you did never happened, but perchance those in charge of communicating secretly hope for careers in politics or the media where such juvenile behavior is a virtue, not a character flaw.
