where are the GM's

The service the GM's have been doing the past years have been amazing like getting rid of a chunk of gil sellers and bots but a new problem has arrived, i've seen people using 3rd party software and made a GM call and all i get is a generic message saying go to the website and fill out a complaint form and when we get it we will look at it. That was about 1 month ago and the player is still doing their thing.

If you wish to know the player is crafting items at a non-stop speed everyday for hours with out ever buying items for AH and they never log off either. This seems way to suspicious considering the items being used, but i will not mention that here. All i can say as a fellow crafter is i could spend a whole day gathering mats to crafting and they'll be gone in 30-40mins of non-stop synthing.

GMs always told me STF does bannings and such, to me they do not do much.

they are improving though, this site gives them something to do, but those messages do annoy me too. they are overused.

I saw an obvious logging bot one day, Decided to call a GM.

2 Days later, Days, I didn't get a GM response, i got an automated message telling me to inform the STF. I did, and the guy was banned, so its all good. But still =.=, Took 2 days for an Auto-Response to come through.

Either way, When it comes to RMT, Report them to the STF. When it comes to being stuck/Harassment/etc Thats when you use GMs.

GMs have never been useful in the game, not once have they solved a problem for me that they exist to solve. As for banning bots and cheaters, they don't do that, the STF does. Please don't praise them for things they weren't responsible for. The forum moderators at least do something (occassionally) so I doubt they're the same people that aren't keeping watch over the game.

I've called GMs quite a few times lately, and they're always on my call within a couple minutes. I don't see any evidence of lack of staff or inattention to calls.

Once the STF came to play GM no longer really do anything so they cut back on them. Before i would call a GM for fishing bots in sandy and i stay there for 1hour fishing myself and saw them gone and no longer in the game.

Only once have I reported a bot to a GM and had them do anything, it was about 9 months ago or so. I was fishing in SSG for nebies and the /anon elf next to me was fishing them up like crazy, but they had a full inventory and they were being tossed back. This continued for an hour before I reported them. After talking to the GM within 15 mins the elf depoped.
