Steps: Um...

1. Gathered materials for a Pyrosoul Ring.
2. We approached the Synergy Furnace with haste and excitement, Vold with Synergy skill 80 and Motaki with Goldsmithing skill 90.
3. We traded the synergy materials to the furnace only to find out Motaki no longer has the goldsmithing skill to start the synergizing. We received a "current goldsmithing skill makes this impossible to synergize" message on every furnace we tried it on, with Vold and Motaki both trying to trade materials to the furnace, despite successfully completing it days before in Bastok Markets.
4. We developed frowns due to disappointment.
5. Did not try going back to Bastok Markets to try there again.

You can make Anything Via Synergy so long as you have the Required Crafts for the Synth in your party, and in the same zone.
