    New AVNM Stagger Methods?

    An idea that Jumped in my head is staggering for AVNM

    Stagger 1: Black !!

    Cause: Any of the following Spells (Damage over time Spell)
    Poison II, Dia II, Burn, Choke, Shock, Rasp, Drown, Frost, Geohelix, Hydrohelix, Anemohelix, Pyrohelix, Cryohelix, Noctohelix, Luminohelix, Foe Requiem VII, Dokumori: Ichi,

    Hint: Element

    effect: Lower's Chance for "Color Change" of "Dimilune Abyssite"
    Enemy Is Temporarily inflicted with Potent Bind, Gravity, Slow, Paralyze for 30 seconds

    Stagger 2: White !!

    Cause: Any of the following Enfeebling Magic spells

    Slow, Paralyze, Blind, Bind, Gravity, Silence, Hojo: Ni, Jubaku: Ichi, Carnage Elegy, Addle, Yurin: Ichi, Aisha: Ichi, Thermal Pulse, Demoralizing Roar, Cimicine Discharge, Temporal Shift,

    Effect: Raises Chance for "Color Change" of "Dimilune Abyssite"
    Enemy is Temporarily Inflicted With Potent: (depending on day)Bio,Dia, Burn, Choke, Shock, Rasp, Drown, Frost

    Any Thoughts? I was trying to think of good triggers that would bring in alot of jobs although alot of ones there may not work due to things like Hojo and Slow are both the same effect and other things of the like. Also I was thinking that Maybe instead of Spells and weaponskills be triggers, why not job abilities? like Jump, steal, Provoke as triggers too? i mean it would add a level of difficulty and excitement if the trigger lands on something like provoke lol, also would definately broaden the Horizon on the newly Cliche'd "Mnk or THF, WHM, BLM/BRD, BLU" quads.

    Just an idea, plz post your Thoughts =)

    Foe Requiem VII as a trigger spell? personally i'd say no, this gives the mist resists of all the Bard spells imo. i have even tried to land it with 3x M.ACC atma's plus temp items on more than 1 NM and still resist.

    imo in general the "Raises Chance for "Color Change" of "Dimilune Abyssite""" is othe only usefull one you mentioned, if you dont want the change then have the next tier KI and it will not upgrade at all

    Id say no, not because it's a bad idea but many of the spells are neccessary to combat some of the tougher ones with smaller groups and you may have to recast a few times.

    well maybe not so much the proc methods as much as having a way to stagger to change or not change the color of abyssite was the idea, lol im not very good with comming up with specifics like that

    How about instead just adjust it where triggering Red !! would cause the color of the Abyssite to change. T1 and T2 AVNM's don't drop Atmas or KI's so it would just be utilizing something that's already there that's not being used.

    To limit the upgrades, get one person in your group who has both the tier you want and one tier above. Have another person in the group with only the tier you want. Have the single tier person locate the mob and the 2 tier person always pop the mob. Thus, you never get an upgrade.
