Deleting Steam Version - Quick Question

Hey guys quick question, I just bought a retail copy of the game(for my laptop) but I already have the downloaded steam version on my desktop PC. Would I be able to delete my steam version on my desktop PC install the retail version I got and use the steam codes? Also would I have to register the Abyssea add ons again or would they already be there after I log into my account?

When you say steam codes, are you referring to the product registration code? if so, then yes. However, if steam is a separate code from the game itself, then no. The game requires a product registration code that either comes with the retail version of the game, or the down-loadable version of the game. They can only be used once per account/game though.
As far as abyssea/ add-ons. Yes you will still have them, but you will need to re download them from your account once you log in.

At least I think i am right about all of that.

FF11 is differnt then other PC games. Once you regisiter the expanions codes they are on your account not your PC. I have used my retail disc on 4 differnt PCs and laptops. Also if you can log into your account on you laptop then you can delete and reinstall. One other thing is everone got the add-on data and you will get it when you do the fist update. The add-on codes just lets you have access to them.
